Google Released Panda 4.0 Update for Poor Content

On 22nd May'14, Google released Panda 4.0 update which aims to filter out reedy content from top rankings. Since then, some have noted that press releases sites may have also been hit big this time. This Panda 4.0 update can drop the traffic of top Press Release sites and if they lost any SEO visibility on a large scale then PRWeb.com, PR Newswire and SBWire seem to have lost significant rankings in Google.

According to searchengineland.com, PRNewsWire.com seems to have shown a significant drop in SEO visibility, dropping 63% after Panda 4.0 was released. If Panda is hitting these sites then I can say that Google is hitting those websites which are publishing Press release. If you want to really know that your website traffic is increasing then we can say that panda 4.0 is God for you but if your website is hurt by this update then your search traffic can be decrease drastically.  If you’ve seen a significant increase, you’ve probably been pleased by it.
